These Blue Ray Sunscreens are one of their popular range as good reviews have been exploded on them online. These sunscreens cover broad-spectrum protection which has a great texture for daily use. Keep on reading to read my thoughts on them.

This post was updated on October 2020

Honestly, these were the sun protections that triggered my addiction to start using Sunblocks and Sunscreens daily. Before this, I always thought sunscreen was to only be used during intense outdoor activity so I didn't have much knowledge on them back then, so I rarely used them. Once I knew the importance of sun protection, I instantly googled to find some of the best ones and I found these.

These sunscreens were gifted to me by MarhsearMY

Read on below to know my thoughts on these sun protections:

My Thoughts On Make P:rem UV Defense Me. Blue Ray Sun Gel

Ingredients

It contains Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate and Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate as its sunscreen agent. It also has Centella Asiatica, Niacinamide and other plants derive in this. Fragrance is also included so for those with sensitive skin, do stay alert.

Packaging

Looks nice but not so convenient for me. It comes in a hard bottle which makes it take up space if bought around. The good thing is that it comes in a pump so it's hygienic.

Texture

A very light gel which makes it glides easily on the skin. It's said to be non-greasy but I feel it to be greasy for me which the skin have a very shiny glow after application. Anyhow it absorbs very well into the skin which results in no white cast.

Scent

Strong, and a little bit too strong for me.

Reaction

I haven't had any complications by using this.

Overall Thoughts

Among the 3 products, this is the very least I like because it's too greasy for me and with my skin type that oily combination, it makes the shine worst when I sweat. It isn't waterproof so reapplication is a must once you sweat. I took a long time to finish this bottle since I'm only using this at home and until now I still haven't finished the bottle which I have already put aside as I don't think I'll be using this again.

My Thoughts On Make P:rem UV Defense Me. Blue Ray Sun Cream

Ingredients

Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide are both in this. This sunblock is mostly filled with plant-derived ingredients which should be suitable for all skin types including those with sensitive skin. Some of their key ingredients include Cica which helps with skin healing and also birch sap for healing. The INCI list looks good all together.

Packaging

This packaging is the most convenient type for me. I've been bringing this sunscreen around as it doesn't take up much space as the bottle is squeezable and very useful on its last days to get all the insides out. I couldn't bare to leave any product wasted from this.

Texture

It's in a cream form and rather thick too. It does take some time for it to absorb and without proper application, you'll definitely be seeing a white cast.

Reaction

I did not experience any irritations with this.

Overall Thoughts

You've probably guessed it, yes, I do like this one. I've been using this as a daily sunscreen because it gives a mattifying finish and works as a good base before makeup too.  I love that this sunscreen as it isn't drying and also is it sticky to the skin either. It makes such a nice finish to skincare application. I highly recommend this one for those looking into a daily sunscreen to be used indoors our outdoors.

Make P:rem UV Defense Me. Blue Ray Sun Fluid

It's a Physical Sunscreen, almost similar to its cream, this one is called fluid. If you look into the ingredients, it's pretty much the same but this one could serve the body as well which explain why it's a larger bottle compared to the rest. Same as the other sunscreens, the Blue Ray Sun Fluid also offers broad-spectrum protection.

My Thoughts On Make P:rem UV Defense Me. Blue Ray Sun Fluid

Ingredients

It's almost similar to its sun cream but this one contains quite a number of plant extracts and also the addition of Vitamin E too!

Packaging

It comes in a very big bottle which honestly takes a lot of space to bring around which I usually do when I go on vacations or will be under the hot sun.  Thank goodness its a flat bottle compared to a round bottle.

Texture

It's runny and very light which explains why its called a fluid. Anyhow, when applied to the skin it somehow gets dense and takes some time to absorb. Once absorbed it kinda dries the skin. And also make sure to share the bottle before application, if not only oil will come out.

Scent

Very strong!

Reaction

I didn't experience any irritations with this but it is drying after application.

Overall Thoughts

The Blue Ray Sun Fluid is my second choice for this range. I finished up the sun cream ages ago and opted for this one for my second choice until I tried out different other types of sunscreen. I didn't quite like to use it as a daily sunscreen as it feels drying and when I sweat my skin tends to get oily. I'll usually use this on my body which functions better for me. That's why I bring it while I travel but until now it's still hard for me to finish up such a big bottle.

Till then peeps!
