My Thoughts on Pixi Vitamin C Lotion

We normally hear about Vitamin C moisturisers but this one is a lotion.  It's supposedly just the same thing for me but the lotion has a lighter texture than a moisturiser so that's probably why its called a lotion.

Ingredients
Same as the rest of its range, the Vitamin C lotion also uses Ascorbic Acid for its source of Vitamin C. It also contains Ferulic Acid and Vitamin E which makes this lotion stable. It also contains Lactic Acid which supposedly does not do well with Vitamin C. But I guess Pixi has found a stable formulation for this. Other than that, this lotion contains quite a number of essential oils.

Packaging
It comes in a slim plastic tube that fully opaque which makes it good storage to protect the insides. I love Pixi's packagings, its always cute and does not cause leakage.

Texture
The lotion looks lightweight at first but once applied it becomes thick and it is difficult to absorb into the skin. I had a very hard time to apply it quickly since it doesn't absorb well and if you don't let it sink in completely, you'll have lotion showing all over your face which is not a good sight and uncomfortable as well.

Scent-Wise
You can expect it to have a strong scent as it contains quite a number of fragrance. It smells citrusy and sweet.

Reaction
I didn't experience any bad reaction with this lotion nor did I see any improvements using this as well.

Overall Thoughts
Honestly, I do not like this lotion, I read some pretty good reviews on this but the biggest turnback for me was during application. It didn't absorb well and putting it on was like a hassle for me but anyhow I did manage to finish the tube. LOL...
