Aprilskin Real Calendula Peel Off Pack is an exfoliating mask. It's not said to be a mask but it's somewhat similar to a mask and is aimed to help exfoliate the skin with low irritation effects. The Aprilskin Calendula Peel Of Pack is advised to be used once or twice a week only.

How To Use Aprilskin Calendula Peel Off Pack
1. After cleansing, apply an even layer to dry skin, avoiding eyes, lips, and hairline.2. Leave on for 30 mins or until completely dry. Ingredients
Looking into the full list ingredients of Aprilskin Calendula Peel Off Pack on incidecoder.com, it's key ingredients are Calendula Flower, Flower Complex and Tea Tree Oil.
Aprilskin claims to use the whole Calendula flower in this product including the petals, pistil, stamen, and calyx. This peel-off-pack also uses quite a number of flower extract which includes blue chamomile as well.
Looking roughly into the ingredients, most of the ingredients are great antioxidants and great to help soothe and treat acne. However, since this is said to be an exfoliating mask I was searching which is the exfoliating agent, turns out its exfoliating agent is Orange Peel Oil. I only thought it was for fragrance, turns out, this ingredient is high in AHA.
Other than that, this peeling pack does have alcohol and essential oils which could be irritating so for those with sensitive skin may need to watch out on this.
Packaging
I love the clear packaging and I love it's in a tube as well. Makes it easy to get the product out without creating a big mess. Aprilskin's peel of pack also comes with a jelly brush which looks quite luxurious in pictures, I must say. The jelly brush functions great to flatten out the product to the whole face without making a big mess and its easy to clean as well. Just a quick rinse under the tap and just let it air-dried, so no hassle at all.
Texture
It's thick and very very sticky once the product comes out from the packaging. Since the texture is thick, it doesn't create a really smooth application, so you'll need to have a certain technique to apply and flatten it out on the whole face. I haven't found that technique yet but it should be getting used to. The peel-of-pack is in a gel consistency, almost thick as jelly and it contains real calendula petals inside which would spread out once have the gel flattened on the face.
To know when it's time to peel off already, the texture should be completely dry. When you feel it with your finger, you don't feel any stickiness from the gel anymore and you'll also feel your face to be very tight.
Scent-Wise
The scent is very strong of orange which could be bothersome to some people but I kinda like the scent. Since orange peel oil is one of the main ingredients I'm not surprised with how strong the fragrance is. Orange peel oil is said to have quite a number of benefits to the skin but it can also cause irritation.
Experience
My first try was the shot in the video above. At first, I thought the gel would be like a jelly texture when applied to the face but I was indeed for a surprise. Turns out, the get would dry up and thin out, making the skin tight which gives a sign that the mask is ready to be peeled off.
It was a bit awkward for me during the first try since I haven't used this kind of mask for quite a while. What made it worse was that I experienced an unpleasant stinging reaction when I had this applied for the first few minutes. The stinging was bearable but I did happen to shed a few tears because of the pain. I don't have sensitive skin so it was quite a surprise how my skin reacted with it during the first application. However, once the gel started to dry up, I didn't feel any pain at all.
Peeling the peel-off pack was quite nice since it dried up well it was easy to peel it off. It did take almost half an hour for it to dry, probably because I was moving around too much so I kinda sweated. Anyhow, once I peeled off the mask, my skin felt super clean but it was a bit dry. But that was a quick fix with patting in Aprilskins calendula serum afterwards.
Overall Thoughts
I've only used this twice only because I've been trying retinol in my skincare routine and I'm having breakouts, so I don't find this suitable to use within this time especially with a product high in AHA's.
Overall, within the twice of usage, my thoughts on Aprilskins Peel-Off-Pack is that it's worth the try. I can't truly say I love it yet since I've only used it twice but within the 2 times of usage, I found my skin to feel very smooth afterwards. Anyhow, the main reason for this peel-off-pack is to exfoliate and get rid of dead skin cells so probably after consistent application twice a week the skin would show less acne. That's what I think for now, but no worries, I'll update this post again on how I feel on it after I've finished up the whole tub.
