My Thoughts on Heimish Hydro Vegan Essence

This is my review on Heimish All Clean Low pH AHA, PHA Hydro Vegan Essence. Honestly, I couldn't find many details on this essence on the internet right now, most of them are in Korean so that's no use to me. So I may lack proper details of the essence since I didn't have much reference of it.

Looking into the full list of ingredients of Heimish All Clean Low pH AHA, PHA Hydro Vegan Essence, its key ingredients are Gluconolactone and Shea Butter. It does contain other great ingredients such as Ceramide, Vitamin E and so on. Since the name of this essence focuses on AHA PHA which means the main star ingredient in this essence is of course Gluconolactone.

Honestly, this is my first time hearing about Glucomolactone (or probably I've used it before but didn't notice it) so I googled it out and found this ingredient to rather interesting. Even though it's an exfoliating agent, having it be in the PHA family, this exfoliant is really gentle even for acne-prone and sensitive skin. However, I'm unsure if this essence could be used daily.

Similar to its toner, I just love its clean and simple design. This serum to comes in a hard clear plastic bottle but instead of a screw cap, it's with a pull cap and a pump. The pump works just fine to pump out just enough of the essence needed without difficulty.

It's a clear semi-gel textured essence that's consistency isn't that thick neither that runny. The essence is able to absorb into the skin with ease but it does leave a drying effect on my skin. Makes my skin feel rather tight.

It has very minimal scent to no scent at all.

I did not experience any irritation or bad reactions while using and after using Heimish Vegan Cleanser. I however did use this essence every day during my night routine even though it was an exfoliating agent. So far I did not experience any irritation at all and my acne breakouts seems to be healing too. But I doubt it was because of this essence, but I do agree that Hemish's Vegan essence is definitely soothing.

Overall Thoughts
Honestly, I don't really find this essence to my liking because it creates a rather dry feeling to my skin after application. It doesn't cause irritation but it does feel soothing upon application. I'll probably try to finish up the bottle because I can't let good skincare go to waste especially when the INCI list is quite good.
