Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for Herlovito Jojoba Hair Oil, this hair oil uses 6 types of essential oils which all of them are well-known to treat the hair. I've been reading a bit about essential oils so that's why I was attracted to use this. However, I'm unsure of the source of their EO's either it's dilute or not, I don't fully understand that part of essential oils yet, but for now what I know, Herlovito's Jojoba Hair Oil is a combination of great EO's mainly used to treat hair.
Packaging
It comes in a clear glass bottle with a plastic screw cap dropper. The design is also neat and simple making it look quite elegant from afar. However, the feel of the dropper, especially its cap feels quite cheap, and it only gets a quarter half of oil in a time, so it may be a bit inconvenient for those with long hair.
Texture
Being an oil, it's very runny just like water. It definitely is very oily on the skin but it's very convenient on the hair as it glides smoothly and absorbs very well.
Scent-Wise
I love the scent! Can't get enough of it. It puts me in a good mood.
Experience
I haven't been using hair oils for ages but I took interest in Herlovito's Jojoba Hair Oil because I've been reading about essential oils for hair loss and jojoba oil is a fantastic remedy. I tried changing my shampoo and buying other anti-hair fall products but it just didn't work. So I tried looking into essential oils and it seems like a promising solution.
I instantly wanted to try Herlovito's Jojoba Hair Oil because it was ready-made to use, and the ones I've been reading about are mixtures of oil to do a hair tonic, which I certainly don't trust myself to do it yet and it's more pricey. So this Herlovito's Hair Oil was my solution and when I first tried it, honestly and didn't quite like the scent, but over time, the scent started to smell lovely once I got used to it and now I'm addicted.
As I mentioned, I haven't used hair oils for so so so long so when applying it again it felt so weird, I really don't like my hair oily and shiny so I used this only at night right before sleep. The good thing is that when it's applied to the hair it isn't that oily to the extent where it leaves oil marks on my pillow so sleeping is comfortable especially with the sweet scent of the oil.
I usually wake up at 4am in morning to work and shower at 6am. So within those 2 hours awake, I do feel my hair being really oily and my scalp too. It's also itchy sometimes so I try to hit the shower earlier and after that, my hair feels amazing! Once my hair is fully dried, it becomes bouncy and looks so much healthier.
I've been using this for a few weeks now and I could say my hair fall problem has improved a bit, I can't really say it improved so much because I still see hair on my bedroom floor as usually which I still need to vacuum every day. But I don't see anymore hair coming off when I comb my hair especially the once with the small gap.
Overall Thoughts
I'm pleased with this hair oil as I'm pleased with other products I've tried from Herlovito. This local brand is a must discover if you haven't tried yet. For now I already used half of the bottle and I know how it works on my hair alone.
