It contains double vitamin formulation with Vitamin E derivatives that brighten skin, even out skin tone, and gives the complexion a healthy glow suitable for all skin types.

Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for Melano CC Vitamin C Brightening Essence, its active ingredient is Ascorbic Acid. It's claimed that the essence combines 4 types of Vitamin C which are PURE Vit. C, Penetrating Vit. C, Oil Soluble.  It also contains vitamin B6 as well as vitamin E. Other good ingredients found are Allantoin, Alpinia Seed Extract, Grapefruit and lemon extract. It, however, does contain Alcohol too.

Packaging

I'm delighted that this essence came in a fully covered aluminium tube. Mentaholatum claims to ensure the efficacy of Vitamin C in providing the optimum skin brightening and pore care. The Melano CC premium essence is equipped with an Aluminium tube and special nozzle to prevent oxidation, keeping it fresh until the last drop. This is so great because many Vitamin C products are tough to maintain because of the packaging. 

The only thing I'm unsatisfied with is its labels that are all in Japanese. I can't understand a thing, even its box is in Japanese. Being an international brand, I feel like Mentholatum should do something about this because most of their products are all without English labels. It's 2021 now. Even Korean Skincare now are doing English labels. It's not like we're getting this brand exclusive from Japan. It's available in most international drugstores worldwide.

Texture
Very watery, just like water. It's a clear essence that easily drips and feels a bit oily too. However, it absorbs easily into the skin just within seconds.

Scent-Wise
It has quite a strong scent of citrus

Experience
I haven't tried this Vitamin C Essense from Melano CC yet because I'm currently using too many actives and I always need to be careful with Vitamin C as I've experienced quite a number of breakouts because of it before. I'm still unsure if I'm going to use this or give this to someone but if I do use it I'll update my experience here. However, this essence does seem like a promising product.

Overall Thoughts
If you're looking into fading past acne marks, this may do the trick. Besides, it's not meant to be used for the whole face but only on targeted areas only. The essence is only 20ml which isn't a lot and it could be considered pricey as well.
