For this list, we’ll be jumping all over this gigantic country to take you to a few must-see spots, and the first one is the great city of Calgary in the province of Alberta.


Calgary is fascinating in that it encompasses all that is amazing about rural and urban Canada. You might have heard of the city’s exciting Calgary Stampede rodeo, an annual multi-day event featuring all kinds of exhibitions and other goings-on.

Next up, check out Quebec City, the capital of the Quebec province. Now, as you may have guessed, this is part of French-speaking Canada, and the city is actually one of the oldest European cities in the Americas. It was founded in 1608 by French explorers and so has a rich cultural history to impart to visitors.


Check out the Place Royale square for some information on Quebec City’s origins, or go see the famous fortifications built for defending the city from enemies. From the shops and cafes to Parliament Hill, Quebec City offers more than enough culture for any trip to the Great White North.

When people think of Canada, you can’t fault them for thinking immediately of Toronto. As the capital of Ontario, this city has a lot to live up to, and it does that and more. From the beautiful views of Lake Ontario to the shopping, art museums, historical stops, entertainment, and sports teams, Toronto is a place where people just love to be.
