My Thoughts on Filorga Repair Intensive Serum

Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for Filorga Global Repair Intensive Serum, it has a very long INCI with a combination of super ingredients and emollients as well. It also contains quite a number of irritating ingredients which includes fragrance and Alcohol. The serums goodies are Glycerin, Niacinamide, Ceramide, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and also Probiotics. It also contains Retinol and Ascorbic Acid which those who are not used to these ingredients should be careful. Overall the INCI list looks just okay to me, doesn't seem very promising with quite the number of irritating ingredients included but it mostly contains powerful ingredients which are superb for the skin.

Packaging
It comes in a glass with a plastic cap. It has a pressable head with a small snout, making the product come out smoothly and nicely. It certainly has the 'luxurious' feel all over it with the glass bottle and the outer box packaging. The only thing I find not necessary is the instruction paper inside which is like a booklet but it's basically the same thing with different kinds of language.

Texture
It is a lightweight yellowish cream with a light viscosity. It's not sticky and it blends super well into the skin. It gives an instant feel of softness to the skin once applied

Scent-Wise
It has a very strong scent of citrus which is not really to my liking.

Experience
I have been using this serum generously over the weeks including on my neck also and now after almost a month, the bottle has been emptied. So I guess if you're buying this, you'll have to use pea-sized amounts if you want to save up to use for a couple of months. I did not experience any irritations or redness while or after the application of this serum so it seems to do well for my skin.

I've been using the whole set of Filorga products while trying out this serum and almost a month after trying it out I've noticed that my dark spots and blemishes have reduced a lot. Despite having irritating ingredients my skin didn't seem to break out at all. Retinol and Ascorbic Acid usually give my skin some kind of nasty reaction but this time it didn't. Either the formulation for this serum was perfect for me or my skin has already adjusted to these ingredients. Honestly, I'm super surprised that my skin did not break out at all and I've noticed my skin is now looking so healthy.

Overall Thoughts
Filorga Repair Intensive Serum was a great try for me. Honestly, upon writing this post did only I discover the price for this serum which kinda shook me. I knew this brand was expensive but I wasn't expecting this serum to be priced at RM500+. So is it worth it? If you have the money go for it, but for a middle-class person such as myself, I wouldn't have the courage to splurge on an RM500 worth of serum. Let's be real, would you?

But the results were super satisfying, like I mentioned above I was surprised that I didn't get acne at all with Retinol and Ascorbic Acid included. My skin feels super healthy and my dark spots and blemishes faded out a lot! I cannot say I would totally recommend it since the effect isn't like 'WOW' I look like seventeen again. It's not a magic cream but it does show results quite fast. The only bummer for me is the super expensive price, so if you can afford this, it's worth the try for you but if you cannot, you're not really missing anything. Obviously, I got mine as PR, so I'm certainly happy it worked great for my skin.
