Mamonde Chamomile Pure Toner Review

Mamonde's Chamomile Pure Toner has been launched a couple of years back with other ranges of Mamonde's Pure Toner that includes it's iconic Damask Rose Water Toner. I've written a post on this range, you can read it here: MAMONDE FLOWER TONERS & ROSE WATER LINE. During that time, I only wrote about it but not as a review as I didn't use it. Only now was I able to try this toner as I've been trying Mamonde's new Blue Chamomile Cream which is suggested to be used together with their Chamomile Pure Toner. Read on to know my thoughts.

The Chamomile Plant was first mentioned as a cure for fever, often referred to as the “ague”. Being a native to western Europe, India, and Western Asia, the Chamomile is widely used as a herbal tea for its well-known benefits of relaxing the nerves, especially for those with sleeping troubles. The plant also contains soothing properties that help soothe and alleviates inflammation and roughening of the skin

What is Mamonde Chamomile Pure Toner?

Mamonde describes it as a soothing toner to benefit those with sensitive skin. It's among Mamonde's Flower Toner range and is also a favourite of many beauty addicts.

My Thoughts On Mamonde's Chamomile Pure Toner

Just as it's iconic Damask Rose Water Toner, Mamonde's Chamomile Pure Toner is a suitable everyday toner for any skin type, but it'll be great for those with sensitive skin. Even for those that use quite a number of acids in their skincare routine, using this Chamomile toner once a while will help calm down and balance back the skin. Chamomile is known for its anti-bacterial properties so it would also help to calm down the skin with irritation and acne breakouts.

Packaging
Just as Mamonde's other Flower Toners available, it comes in a clear hard bottle in the colour yellow which symbolises the colour of the Chamomile flower. Honestly, nothing much about their packaging unless you have the full flower toner range, you'll definitely love seeing how the pastel colours combine.

Texture
Very watery and runny which makes it so good to be patted in the skin. Extra tip, you can also use this and add it on a sheet mask. You'll love how it'll feel.

Scent-wise
It doesn't have much scent to it compared to it's Damask Rose Toner but it works just as well.

Reaction
This is like a very innocent toner since it is calming and suitable for sensitive skin so of course, I didn't experience any irritation or redness using it.

Overall Thoughts

For this toner, honestly, at first, I wasn't much into it because I felt I had a better hydrating toner at that time but I still was using it a few times a week. After a while, without notice, I became to be attached to this toner as I kept reaching this out more often. Soon I realised I was now using it as a daily toner and finally I have to admit that it is pretty hydrating but most importantly it is soothing!

Till then peeps!
