REVIEW: FACE REPUBLIC SUPER SCREEN SUN GEL SPF50+ PA+++

Face Republic Super Screen Sun Gel is a chemical sunscreen that is infused with healing ingredients. It's a 2 in 1 sunscreen that protects your skin from the sun and also helps heal the skin at the same time. I've used this for a few months now and I could say it's a steal. Read on for my thoughts on this.

MY THOUGHTS
I'ved used this on and off for a couple of months now and but I've been using Face Republic Super Screen Sun Gel almost every day lately to finish up the tub. This is one of the first products I've tried from brand Face Republic and I'm glad to have discovered this brand. Face Republic is a Korean Brand so I did expect a great mixture of ingredients and it was surely indeed. This Face Republic Super Screen Sun Gel contained ingredients with healing properties such as Lecithin, Aloe Berbadensis, Niacinamide, and also Ceramide. There are a few more but I'm most familiar with these ingredients.

In terms of packaging, I love how it comes in a compact tube which makes it easy to take it on the go. The design is also simple and clean. But they should work on the label, funny story... so the front of the packaging says Super Screen Sun Gel SPF 50+, when I started using it I already read about it and thought it was great, but I was in the midst of finishing off another sunscreen I owned, so I used this on and off. After a month probably, I forgot about the details on the sunscreen and when I looked on the tube, it only says SPF50+ even though I remembered it's mixed with good ingredients I began hesitantly to use this again. Why? Because the PA+++ was missing and that was an important feature in sunscreen. So I kept it aside for about a month or so when I then realized that the PA+++ was stated at the back of the tube but it was small. LOL... I instantly felt stupid. So that's why it took some time for me to finish up this tube. If you use this every day, I bet this tube would only last at least a month only.
Now that I'm back using Face Republic's Super Screen Sun Gel and near to an empty tub, this should be the right time to write a review.

This Face Republic Super Screen Sun Gel is very light and it absorbs well into the skin. It's SPF 50+ PA+++ which makes it suitable to be used outside as well. I prefer to use this indoors because when I sweat I'll have to reapply again and it tends to make my skin feel oily. The texture is nice, it has no white cast but it does have fragrance which is a bit strong. Using this really helped in healing my skin, especially with these acne marks I have.

The downside as I mentioned was that it makes my skin feel oily when I sweat and it could also make my eyes sting when that happens. That's why I avoid using it when I'm out and about. When used indoors and under air-condition it's perfectly fine. Other than that I've never experienced any irritation at all.
Overall it's a great sunscreen at a very affordable price,

Till then peeps!
