REVIEW: MADECA DERMA REVITALIZING SERUM

It's my first time with this brand Madeca Derma. I signed up for Style Korean's Try Me Review when I saw they were giving these out to try, solely because they said it's loaded with Cica. I'm still ain't over Cica even though I've been into this ingredient for over a year now. For the past year, I've tried various products containing Cica and I'm still eager to try more. So I went through a bit on Madeca Derma and I'm already sold! LOL... Keep on reading to know why.

Madeca Derma has a 50-year-old legacy of pioneering skincare grounded in nature. The name Madeca Derma is new but it carries a long history of research for skincare activated by science and powered by nature. Since I received this in a set, I'll be posting another post to highlight on this brand.

MY THOUGHTS

Have you heard of Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid? If you haven't brace yourself because it's all the purified extract of Centella Asiatica (Cica) which are called triterpenoids (TECA). You all know how good Cica is already, but guess what, TECA works better and it's the core ingredient for Madeca Derma's Revitalizing Serum. And it's liposomised TECA which works much much better to penetrate in the skin.

When I was doing a bit of studying about this product, I was like, WOW... WOW... this really is something as not only does it has healing properties, it's super hydrating as well! The Madeca Derma Revitalizing Serum is infused with triple-layer hyaluronic acid and it also contains quite a number of flower oils which is known for it's nourishing properties as well.

The product claims that it's deep hydrating, moisturizing, redness-reducing, firming, nourishing, soothing, and also paraben-free which made me more eager to try out. My style of skincare routine is I love applying healing and hydrating products for my night routine, so I've been using this every night straight since I've opened the box, which was like over a week now. I just feel wearing these kinds of products at night makes my skin better since I tend to sleep all the way through when it does it's 'thing'. LOL...

Anyhow, here are my thoughts about Madeca Derma's Revitalizing Serum.

Packaging: Simple and elegant. The dark green combined with the frosted glass just makes the product look more classy. And I love that the pump manages to pump out just the right amount needed in one go.

Texture: It's one of a kind and it's probably the tackiest serum I've ever used. I'm not complaining as I'm surprised at how it manages to absorb quite quickly into the skin too. Just a few dabs and it's good enough.

Scent wise: It reminds me of herbal medicine, LOL... but the scent ain't that strong and I keep in mind that they use plant-derived fragrance rather than artificial fragrance which is a very good thing especially for sensitive skin. Anyhow, the scent doesn't really bother me, I kinda like it.

Reaction: No irritation at all, just smoothed and hydrated skin when I wake up in the morning. I even had no pimple breakouts and my acne scars and redness seems to reduce too.

Overall, I can't find anything to complain, this Madeca Derma's Revitalizing Serum is my kind of serum exactly, healing and hydrating at the same time and probably my skins wake up call product because this is just the perfect product for tired skin. I'm highly recommending this for those looking for a product to treat their skin, past acne and dull skin should be good too because Cica helps to heal and hyaluronic acid pumps moisturization to the skin, which you should always remember, hydration is the key to a lively skin.

Till then peeps!
