My Thoughts on Neogen's Probiotics Emulsion

Swipe left for more pictures:

According to, Neogen Probiotics Youth Repair Emulsion full list ingredient contains skin-loving ingredients that skin addicts surely love. Their main ingredient, of course, is probiotics which are complemented with 5 types of Hyaluronic Acid, Centella Assiatica, TECA, and ceramide.

Unlike Neogen's Probiotics Mist, the Youth Repair Emulsion is packed in a fully covered plastic bottle instead of a clear one which is good since it contains ceramide. It also comes in a pump which I super love as it's easy and hygenic. I feel like most brands should change all moisturises to be in a pump bottle instead of a jar we need to stick our fingers in. Anyhow, the packaging of this emulsion is just nice and functions well.

The viscosity is a bit thick but the texture is lightweight. One pump gives out enough emulsion to cover the face so you can expect this 100ml bottle to last quite long in your skincare routine. It does take some time to absorb into the skin and it's rather sticky too. After application, it tends to make your skin have a sheer look which I feel very sticky too.

Similar to its mist, the scent for the emulsion is indeed pleasing. Just like sweet bubblegum.

I've been using the Neogen Probiotics Emulsion with my FOREO UFO and instead of using one pump for one usage session, I've been using it with at least 3-4 pumps and the FOREO works very well with this emulsion. The FOREO helps absorbs the emulsion nicely with my less than a minute session and it feels just like using it with a mask.

However, I stopped using this emulsion after a week over after I've been seeing pimples popping out which I've suspect the emulsion as the cause because it contains Shea Butter which my skin doesn't seem to react very well with this ingredient.

Overall Thoughts
I haven't given up on this emulsion yet as it contains super ingredients that my skin loves. I'll probably try this again a couple of month after this as see if I still get pimples popping after using it. This emulsion contains great ingredients and its also alcohol-free.
