My Thoughts on Suu Balm Facial Moisturiser

Ingredients
Looking into the full list ingredients of Suu Balm Facial Moisturiser, it's key ingredients are Ceramide, Truffle and Safflower. Which are mostly soothing and moisturising agents. Ceramides are known to help build and protect the skin barrier which also one of my all-time favourite skincare ingredients as it works so well with my skin. It also contains Saccharide Isomerate which is said to work its full potential with the combination of Hyaluronic Acid and that happens to be one of the ingredients in this moisturiser as well.

However, this moisturiser does contain Cetyl Alcohol which normally should be avoided for those with sensitive skin which is kind of confusing since this moisturiser is made for those with sensitive skin. Anyhow, I'm not an expert in this kind of science so I bet the percentage used may not be enough to irritate the skin.

Overall, the ingredients do look promising with no parabens and low irritating and comedogenic ingredients used.

Packaging
Love the packaging, it comes in a small and sleek fully covered white matte packaging. The best thing is that it comes with a pump, making it always hygienic when using the product.

Texture
It's has a white creamy texture that absorbs easily into the skin. It feels a bit oily but it leaves the skin very smooth instantly.

Scent-Wise
It doesn't really have a scent

Experience
This moisturiser is indeed soothing and very pleasing for me. What surprised me the most when I first used it was the cooling menthol sensation after application. I wasn't expecting that until I read the details on the range which Suu Balm's signature ingredients are ceramide and menthol to relieve itchiness.

I do not have eczema on my face nor do I have problems such as sensitive skin. However, I was experiencing redness because of breakouts during the time I was trying Suu Balm's cream and this cream indeed helped me relief acne pain. I've been using this for almost a month now and I could say that this moisturiser does not get rid of acne but it does help soothe irritation caused by acne.

Overall Thoughts
I could say that Suu Balm's Moisturiser does its job with soothing. I've been using this cream in my skincare AM routine combined with Cica serum and it seems to work great with my skin. I've even tried pairing it with exfoliating products on certain days and I had no bad reactions at all.

What pleases me until now is indeed its cooling effect, I can't seem to get enough of it and somehow it excites me every time. LOL... So far, my breakouts are gone and my skin has recovered tremendously but I can't say it was because of this cream, but I can say this cream really did help in soothing redness and irritation. Now I know what type of moisturiser I should use if I need to calm down my skin.

Another great thing is that this moisturiser is shareable since it comes in a pump. I'll have no issues with passing this moisturiser around with my sisters and mother as I don't have to worry much about hygiene.

My Rate
Rate: 5/5
Repurchase: Yes! Will definitely look for this again when I finish up this current bottle. However not for a daily moisturiser, but for standby, a periodic moisturiser that I'll use when my skin needs to calm down from breakouts. I feel this moisturiser does a good job at it.
