My Thoughts on VT Cica Cream

I've been wanting to try out this brand ever since I saw it a couple of months back. VT Cosmetics is a new brand to me and what caught my attention is their CICA X CARE line which consists of multiple types of products.

Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for VT Cosmetics VT Cica Cream, its active ingredients are Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Centella Asiatica Extract, Madecassoside and Madecassic Acid combined with Ceramide which makes this formulation to look forward to.

Overall this cream is covered with soothing and anti-bacterial plant extracts that would surely help calm down irritated skin. However, it does contain alcohol and artificial fragrance.

Packaging
Its box looks simple and neat which also includes an original sticker which makes it kinda look expensive. However, its description labels are all in Korean except for the INCI list. They had so much white space on the box, they should have considered English as well.

For the packaging itself, instead of a plastic tube, it comes in an aluminium tube with a plastic screw cap and head. I don't quite prefer aluminium tubes because at some point it may tear in the middle if we don't press out the product properly in the long run. I also don't quite like the design, it may be simple and neat but it's just too simple without any English descriptions on it.

Texture
It's a bright green cream that looks very lightweight but actually has a thick consistency. But, it does absorb easily into the skin giving the skin an instant boost of smoothness and hydration. However, it does feel a bit sticky before and after application.

Scent-Wise
The scent is so strong and kinda smells like fresh air freshener. Honestly, I don't like it.

Experience
I was expecting better from this cream but it turns out it doesn't seem to react so well with my skin. I felt a slight irritation and stings while and after the application of this cream. The first time I applied it on my face the stings were stronger, but after a week the stings faded a bit but I don't happen to see any redness or visible reactions to my skin. My acne scars or pigmentations didn't seem to improve either but it does seem to make my skin feel hydrated.

Overall Thoughts
I was eager to try out this brand and this Cica range since I've read so many good reviews about it. Even looking into the INCI list, it looks great. However, this cream doesn't seem to react well for my skin which I'm guessing might be because of the Alcohol or Fragrance contained. However, I'll still be looking forward to try out more products from this range.
