Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for Aprilskin Artemisia Rice Essence Toner, its active ingredients are Artemesia Extract and Rice Bran Extract. Artemisia is also known as Mugwort which is known as a herb that helps with healing that is anti-inflammatory and soothing. While Rice Bran is known for its soothing properties. The INCI list is minimal which are mostly humectants and skin-identical ingredients.
Packaging
Just as the rest of Aprilskin products, their designs are neat & simple. The Artemisia range signatures green colour, and its toner comes in a green clear hard plastic bottle with a flip cap. I like that it's not bulky and it has a nice elegant feel to it even though the colour is green. The choice of the colour green is one of my fav green tones. LOL... Labels come in English & Korean, and I praise Aprilskin a lot for including all details such as benefits, cautions, how to use and INCI list on the packaging box, and English. Their design is simple and neat, and they manage to make full use of their packaging.
Texture
It's very runny but does have a bit of consistency to it. Application is super pleasing and best used by dipping it into the skin as it easily absorbs, leaving the skin feel refreshed and super hydrated.
Scent-Wise
Very minimal scent to no scent at all
Experience
I already used half a bottle of this toner, and it's only been a month since I've tried it. I was expecting this toner to be hydrating, but it turns out to be super hydrating that instantly gives my skin an instant boost of hydration and freshness. The first time I tried this, I was already hooked, and I tend to keep using this too by patting it in instead of using cotton pads. I didn't experience any irritation or bad reaction with this toner. I had only felt well-hydrated skin.
Overall Thoughts
I love this toner and would definitely be getting more of this. The price may be a bit pricey, but it's totally worth it. On days the skin feels sensitive and irritated, this toner also helps the skin to calm down. I totally recommend this for all skin types. However, the Artemesia range is still not available officially in the Malaysian market, but you can get this online internationally.
