My Thoughts on EssenHerb Tea Tree Cream

EssenHerb has been attracting my attention for so long every time I enter a drugstore. They have so many kinds of products with different ranges. With the neat and minimal packaging, it got my interest glued to it. However, EssenHerb doesn't seem to have an official website which makes it feel like this brand isn't well-known, but they have a huge range of products. The only place I could find details on this brand was online shops, and they provide very little information. It doesn't please me much that I couldn't obtain the information I needed. However, I still bought a product from this brand since it was on sale.

Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for EssenHerb Tea Tree Cream, its active ingredients are Tea Tree Extract and Centella Asiatica, which are known for their anti-inflammatory properties. This cream also contains soothing ingredients such as Aloe Vera and Chamomile. It also contains Niacinamide as well. Overall the INCI list looks great; however, it does contain Alchohol and codomegenic ingredients.

Packaging
Packaging is cute. It comes in a fully covered plastic jar with a screw cap. I like that it's not bulky, so it doesn't take too much space on my vanity. The labels are mixed English & Korean, but I realised now that the English labels are just the marketing lines. The INCI and how to use it is all in Korean. I don't know how I even managed to buy this.

Texture
This cream is very light and watery but not runny. It's not sticky and absorbs well into the skin. After application makes the skin feels so smooth and supple.

Scent-Wise
It has quite a strong scent, probably Tea Tree.

Experience
I've used this for a few months already but a few times a week. When I first opened the tub, I used it in my morning routine every day, but I didn't seem to get the results I wanted after a few weeks. I didn't experience any irritation or bad reaction, but it just doesn't seem to do anything to my skin. Since Tea Tree is anti-inflammatory, I expected it to help with soothing and irritated skin due to sudden acne, but it didn't seem to do so. I didn't see progress in my skin getting calmer either, but still, it was very soothing during application. That's why I took very long to finish this tub; I think it has been 6 months already, and I'm still halfway.

Overall Thoughts
This Tea Tree Cream from EssenHERB does not work on my skin, nor does it do anything either except for a soothing feeling during application. I'm a bit disappointed as I was expecting a good outcome from this brand. I'm not sure if I'm gonna try other products from this brand yet, probably if it was on sale. Maybe.
