Mamonde Cermaide Emulsion Review

Mamonde's Ceramide Hibiscus range has been in the market for years now and it's still one of its bestselling range. I've happened to use it's light cream before but I only did a sharing on the product instead of a review back then, you can read it here: MAMONDE MOISTURE CERAMIDE LIGHT CREAM. Well this time around, I've been using the whole range for about a month now so I'll be doing detailed reviews on my thoughts about this range. I've been eager to try the whole set ever since I finished my first tub of the light cream and it surely did leave a mark in my skincare journal. Now since I've been using the whole set, I feel like I could elaborate my thoughts better on this range and show you the results using them. Take note that I've been using Mamonde's Ceramide range as my morning routine as I felt like this range was a pretty could combination with my current night routine. Now let's get to the first review for this range. I'll be linking other products in this range in this post too, so stay tuned.

Before we go in detail for the product, let's get to know a bit about Ceramide and what it promotes. Ceramides are lipids that naturally occur in the skin. It's purposed to help the skin barrier and protect the skin from enviromental stress. I've created a post to explain a bit more on Ceramide, which you can read here: WHAT IS CERAMIDE IN SKIN CARE & WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT IT?

While the Hibiscus flower in skincare has a reputation to increase moisture and lock it within the skin. It's also known as a natural source of AHA's which purposes to exfoliate and control oil.

Now you know a bit on the core ingredient of the product, you'll be able to relate a bit with this post.

What is Mamonde's Ceramide Emulsion?

Similar to its skin softener, Mamonde's ceramide emulsion is an ultra-nourishing emulsion that strengthens the weakened skin moisture barrier and provides impeccable moisturizing effects. The only difference that Mamonde states are that it's an emulsion and a softener. LOL...

How to use Mamonde's Ceramide Emulsion?

After applying Mamonde's Skin Softener, apply a few pumps of the emulsion onto the skin. Instead of pat it in, just lather it in until it's fully absorbs as the consistency of the emulsion is like a very light cream.

What the Mamonde claims for the Ceramide Emulsion

You can read it through their site here: mamonde.com

It states exactly like their Ceramide Skin Softener but changed one difference which is the texture.

Thin and Highly Adhesive Texture

"The thin, lightweight texture adheres to your skin and provides abundant moisture without a sticky finish."

So basically it seems like its the same thing just that it has a different texture but I'm unsure about that. It's core ingredients it's basically the same but I may have missed out on different ingredients used in the ingredients list.

My Review on Mamonde Ceramide Emulsion

Packaging

Similar to Mamonde's Ceramide Skin Softener, it's a light opaque bottle but the difference is the ceramide emulsion has a pump head. Which makes it even better as it's completely sealed. It also makes it much easier to retrieve the product inside.

Texture

It's a milky very light creamy texture. When applied to the skin, it doesn't take much time for it to fully absorb into the skin and the best thing is that it doesn't leave a sticky feel to it.

Scent-Wise

Compared to the Skin Softener, this doesn't have much scent to it. I could hardly scent any at all.

Reaction

No irritations or redness is seen after using this.

Overall Thoughts

Honestly, I don't have much to say, Mamonde's ceramide emulsion is almost like it's skin softener. The only difference I could see is their texture. I'm not sure about the ingredients inside but their core ingredients are the same. Ceramide for skin barrier and Hibiscus for moisture. They also contain acetic acid which is a highly concentrated niacinamide that helps minimize sagging and also treat pores. Other than that I don't see much to highlight.

My experience with this is pretty much the same as it's skin softener. I feel like that emulsion is much of better use than the softener but probably using both completes what lacks from each product. That's just my thought, but if I'll have to choose, I'll pick the emulsion.

Till then peeps
