Review Hada Labo Koi-Gokujyun Hydrating Sleeping Mask Perfect Gel

Hada Labo Hydrating Sleeing Mask Perfect Gel Review

I've been aiming this Hada Labo Hydrating Sleeping Mask for ages because after I tried its premium cream I just fell in love with it since it's so so so hydrating, so I thought the sleeping mask would be better. Hada Labo is very well known for it's products and I'm truly a fan especially their premium hydrating series, I'm unsure if this Hydrating Sleeping Mask is under the Premium Hydrating range because I couldn't find details from Hada Labo specifically mentioning it to be in the same range, but since the colour packaging is the same as their Premium Hydrating range so I'll just assume it is then.

Disclaimer: I bought this product as I wanted to try it. I was not paid to write a review but that does not affect my thoughts on it. Do take note that my experience with this product may not be the same as yours as each skin type is different.

My Thoughts on Hada Labo's Hydrating Sleeping Mask

This is my review on Hada Labo Koi-Gokujyun Hydrating Sleeping Mask Perfect Gel

Packaging
Similar to most of the packaging for Hada Labo gel products, it comes in a fully covered plastic tub. I'm still not a fan of their plastic tubs actually so I really wish they change their packaging to a more hygienic version in the future. Also, I wish that Hado Labo is more international friendly in terms of packaging, the English labels are only on the box, while on the product itself it's only written in Japanese. For such a huge brand that is internationally known, I feel they should take a much better effort in proper English labels for their international customers. Besides, not most of us keep the box around after opened right?

Texture
Very lightweight gel but it does have a thick consistency. It glides easily on the skin and absorbs fast into the skin too.

Scent-Wise
It doesn't have a fragrance scent but it does have a light scent of chemicals. I'm not complaining because it's good to not have fragrance, we all know that right?

Experience
I've been using it as instructed on the box which is 2-3 times a week but it says it could be used every night too. I did use it every night for 3 days straight but I changed to using it twice a week after I received a new skincare range to try.

I did not experience any stings or irritation while using but however the texture just a bit turn off for me. Probably I was expecting a rather thick cream as their premium hydrating night cream like I tried before.

Overall Thoughts
It does what it claims as it does create waking up to a hydrated skin the next morning. However, it doesn't please me much because I feel that their premium hydrating night cream is way better as the thick texture feels like it penetrates more deeply into the skin. LOL... That's just how I feel because I've used both but I just feel the cream to be way nicer. This Hydrating Perfect Gel Sleeping Mask from Hada Labo should be more suitable for those with acne-prone and oil combination skin.

My Rate
Rate: 4/5
Repurchase: Probably, but I'll definitely choose Hada Labo's Premium Hydrating Night Cream of this.

Till then peeps!
