My Thoughts on Huxley Extract It Toner

Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for Huxley Extract It, Toner, its active ingredients is Prickly Pear Cactus (Opuntia Ficus-Indica Stem Extract).  Prickly Pear contains high content of Linoleic Acid which makes it highly moisturizing and far lighter than Argan Oil. It also contains a higher amount of Vitamin E which is great for anti-ageing.

Other ingredients to highlight are Crepe Flower Extract & Rose Extract.

The INCI list seems to differ in most websites, so I guess Huxley kept on upgrading their INCI for this toner. The one I included in my blog is almost similar to the one on the packaging box I received. The difference is a few added ingredients at the bottom of the INCI list you see now. I just did a rough google search for the INCI's added and they are mostly compounds for fragrance.

Honestly, looking at the INCI list, it doesn't look that pleasing as it's mostly full of fragrance extracts. But Huxley products signature is their fragrance so I have no complaint about that. Overall, the Prickly Pear Extract seems to be the winning ingredient that captured most of Huxley fans.

Packaging
Drop-dead gorgeous packaging! Huxley totally wins in bringing a simple yet elegant vibe to its products. The Huxley toner comes in a clear thick glass bottle with a screw cap. The design may look simple but trust me, once you hold it, you'll instantly feel luxurious. The glass bottle is one of the heaviest skincare products I came across so far. The outer packaging is designed as the Sahara desert and the emboss makes it look expensive too. The product information is jammed packed at only one side of the packaging which consists of a simple summary in a few languages except Korean which I find rather odd. INCI list is also included at the very bottom of the packaging.

Texture
Very watery and runny making absorption very quick and easy.

Scent-Wise
I'm addicted! Gosh... I can't get enough of the scent, honestly, it's so so so good! I feel calm every time I apply this toner, sometimes I even just open the cap just to get a scent. LOL... It has a strong floral scent like an explosion of flowers. But I will have to agree that the scent might be a bit overwhelming for some people.

Experience
As soon as I opened the bottle of this toner, I could instantly smell the sweet fragrance of flowers. It lifted up my mood instantly! Even holding the bottle makes me feel so pleased, LOL... It just shows luxury all the way. Anyways, I've been using Huxley's toner for over 2 weeks now and I have not experienced any bad reaction while and after application.

This watery toner just sinks into the skin almost instantly and gives a great boost of hydration to the skin. I never used this with cotton pads, as I feel patting the toner onto the skin feels more pleasing and satisfying. This toner indeed preps the skin for the next skincare step as I found the application of Huxley's thick creamy cream came easy too. It gives the skin better absorption.

Overall Thoughts
Huxley Secret Of Sahara Toner: Extract It is a great toner to try if you don't mind fragrances in your skincare. Some skin addicts see fragrances as a big no in their skincare products but its added fragrances may not be overall bad. Fragrances are usually added to enhance user experience as some skincare ingredients may not have a very pleasing scent. Huxley is one of the skincare brands that proudly announces fragrance in their products as their signature scent for their products is a perfumer's inspiration.

That means that Huxley's uniqueness is their fragrance so if you're not a fan of fragrances in skincare then this brand is not for you. I have no problem with fragrances as long as it doesn't affect my skin and so far using Huxley products, my skin seems to be loving it and I indeed love it. Would definitely recommend t
