It's been a while since I've tried any glacial clay products. I think my last product was Skin & Lab Glacial Clay Facial Mask and that was years ago. I surely need a refresh on this exciting ingredient and it came at the right time. I was gifted the Neogen Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser by Style Korean and I surely had fun using it. Why? Well if you're unfamiliar with glacial or Canadian clay, it's a type of clay that contains so many good minerals for the skin. What makes it even amazing is that it's particle size are so fine that it could absorb and clear impurities deep within the pores which makes it a very gentle exfoliating agent. What is Neogen Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser?
It's said to be a mask and cleanser in one for pore deep cleansing. It has a powerful waste absorption of 100% Canadian Glacial Soil with 40 kinds of mineral ingredient that help absorbs residues on the skin which results in deep cleansing. What's more interesting is that it creates exfoliating soft bubbles as it meets carbonic acid which makes them rise on the skin helping to remove dead skin cells, improves skins glow and smoothness. How To Use The Cleanser
1. Dispense an appropriate amount onto dry face such as 1mm thickness and spread into entire face.
2. Leave about 5 min. to let glacial soil & carbonic acid capsule could fully absorb the waste of pores.
3. After 5 min. add the lukewarm water then softly massage with bubbles & rub bubbles softly on the entire face and wash with water then dry with a clean towel

Long List of Ingredients
It has a very long list of ingredients which contains its key ingredients of Canadian Colloidal Clay, Carbonated Water, Kaolin, Centella Asiatica and a long list of plant extracts and acids too. All seems very good ingredients blended in.
Clean Packaging
There's nothing much fancy about the packaging, its just plastic. Compared to other Neogen products this doesn't seem to have that.. umphhh feeling like to own it by looking at the packaging. LOL... Do you get what I mean? Anyhow, the effort it pretty good to make sure the product is sealed properly. Before opening, its sealed with a zinc foil, once opened, you'll see a layer of a cotton pad inside which honestly looks gross at first sight. It kinda looks like mold, yikes! which at first I did freak out, but after taking a look closely I understand why it was there. The cotton pad is to be thrown out and replaced with a plastic cover that they have included as well. So in terms of packaging, they really gave a lot of thought to have the product inside protected longer which should be given a thumbs up. Just the design is rather sad, so probably that's why they gave a brush as well. HAHA... ok kidding, but honestly, I was more excited about the brush.
Pleasing Texture
The clay is just so pleasing, it is soft and it glides so well on the skin. You won't have a hard time smoothing it flat on the face as its very moist. But make sure to scoop out just enough product at one go and close it tight right afterwards as air tends to activate bubbles and it's very quick too.
Soft Scent
There's not much scent to it but it does has kind of a minty scent to it but not strong. Anyhow, this product does contain fragrance though.
Reaction
It feels cool and good while application but once it starts to bubble it tingles and then it get rather itchy. The tendency to go wash it off as soon as I can is very high when it starts to bubble a lot. The instructions are to wait for about 5 minutes which eventually will lead to the clay drying on the skin. Once that happens its time to wash it off with the brush which feels more pleasing. After drying up my face my skin tends to feel very dry.Overall Thoughts
I could say even though the packaging ain't that exciting, the product inside is something to try. Upon usage, it really does strips all the dirt which feels really great but I make sure to instantly apply a hydrating toner afterwards. I found this best use in the morning when I feel my produced to much gunk overnight. I hardly wear makeup anymore but if I do, this should be a good option to clean makeup residue as well and the best thing is that it could be used on top of makeup too!
Repurchase: No
Since this mask-like cleanser is an exfoliating agent, I'll limit my usage to once a week when I feel like my skin really needs a deep cleanse since I'm a firm believer of glycolic acid, I'll very careful not to over-exfoliate as well.
Anyhow, I feel like this product is more as a fun product to try once a while but good luck on doing that because it comes in a rather large tub. I hope it doesn't dry out first before I finish using it. Other than serving its purpose of deep cleaning the pores I don't feel the urge to be repurchasing this.
