My Thoughts on COSRX Cica Cream

Looking into the full ingredient list of COSRX Pure Fit Cica Cream, it's key ingredients are pretty similar to the rest of the products in the range. Cica 7-Complex, Pine Bark Extract, Panthenol and Allantoin. What they added in the Cica Cream is Sunflower Seed Oil, Macadamia Oil and Beeswax which acts as great emollients.

Even though the design looks like a medical cream, I don't have complains that it comes in a tube instead of a jar. I feel creams are better to come in packaging where we don't have to dip our finger in. COSRX Pure Fit Cica Range comes in a very simple packaging which strongly portrays medical drugs. The Cica Cream comes in a sleek opaque white plastic packaging and a screw cap. The packaging functions well for me as I did not experience any spills at all.

It has a semi-gel texture which is not exactly thick as it looks. Once rubbed in the skin, you'll find it rather lightweight and it absorbs well into the skin too. The cream is non-sticky, which is good but it doesn't really give the skin a hydrating feel after application.

Minimal scent to no scent at all.

It somehow makes the skin feel dry after application and the skin doesn't look moist either. After using this cream I tend to apply sunscreen as soon as I can, and I've been going for sunscreens that is able to give my skin the feel of hydration. I've never tried this cream combined with a drying sunscreen but I can expect my skin to not give a good reaction. However, I did not experience any irritations or redness while using COSRX Cica Cream.

Before & After Using COSRX Pure Fit Cica Range

Before & After Using Cosrx Pure Fit Cica Cream

As I stated in my post for Cosrx Cica Serum, I've used the Cica range for 3 weeks now and you can see the above results. Do take note that the result shown is based on me trying the whole range and not for this cream solely.

I've started using the whole Pure Fit Cica Range on 21/1/21. So it's been about 3 weeks since I've used this range. I've been using this range as my morning routine together with Aprilskin's Carrotene Range for my night routine. Both ranges are supposed to help deal and reduce acne. It was the right time too as if you followed my past reviews lately, I've mentioned that I was experiencing breakouts and it looked ugly. I started using Aprilskin' Carrotene Range first but a product didn't quite work since after my skin healed, I still experienced breakouts. So after taking a guess on what product to exclude, I combined it with COSRX Cica Range in my morning routine, which then resulted to my skin now.

As you can see, the progress was quite fast. It completely healed the big fat acne on my cheek and had my skin calmed down from acne and irritation. Even though the acne scars are still there but I'm really happy to see my skin calmer without any new acne popping up.

Overall Thoughts
The Cica Cream is the last product in COSRX's Pure Fit Cica Range so I'll write my overall review for this range. So far my skin seems to be working great with this range, I'm seeing fewer pimples popping, just one or two small ones even during my period. I also see that my skin is calmer and my acne marks seem to be fading a bit as well but it's not that obvious.

I could say I would definitely recommend this range for those who are dealing with acne and sensitive skin at the same time, this range should be able to help. However, I'll highly recommend using the whole range instead of using it loose with other products because I feel like not each product in this range is exactly that good.

To me, the cream does seem to show its capabilities of reducing acne, but the feel during application wasn't for me. I didn't quite like that it didn't make my skin feel hydrated after application, which is probably something that I'm not used too. I can't stand sticky products as long as it gives the skin a hydrating feeling after application but if I don't feel my skin hydrated I feel like something is missing. This is mostly preference I'm mentioning about so my thoughts may not be the same as others.

My Rate
Rate: 3/5
Repurchase: Probably no.
