My Thoughts on COSRX Cica Powder

Looking into the full list ingredients of COSRX Pure Fit Cica Powder, it's key ingredients are Cica 7-Complex, Pine Bark Extract and Green Calamine. It's my first time hearing about Calamine and when I searched it up it says that its a combination of Zinc Oxide, Moringa, Neem & Senna but in the INCI list I'm just seeing Zinc Oxide which I was expecting it as sunscreen. I looked up other green calamine products but it was mostly general as Green Calamine so I have no idea what Green Calamine they used in this product. Let me know if you understand. Besides that, the Cica powder contains Vitamin E and also Saccharomyces Ferment as well.

It comes in a very cute white opaque bottle with a screw cap. Looking from afar it looks like a medicine bottle which aligns with the Cica range that happens to have that pharmaceutical vibe for their Cica range packaging.  The opening of the bottle has quite a large hold which results in product wastage if you tap at the back of the bottle slightly harder than your supposed to. I've encountered that a couple of times so I try my best to tap as lightly as possible. I wish COSRX would improve the packaging in the future to avoid product wastage.

Just like any ordinary powder. It looks like baby powder too so makes no one pranks you and switch the inside product because there's no telling the difference except for scent.

It's scentless, I can't scent a thing so this should be a good sign.

This is a one of a kind product and its actually very new to me. I have had no experience using a powder like this before so I'm uncertain if other brands have this too. Of course, I was clueless on how to use it but the brand made the instructions simple so I figured out how to use it in no time.

It says that this Cica Powder could be used with any kind of product to create greater synergy with the combined product. Sounds very interesting indeed as this powder aims to soothe and help calm the skin.  I've been using this with their Cica Serum because I feel its easier to mix both products without much hassle.

As I mentioned in my review for COSRX Cica Serum, I had no experience of irritations or redness so same goes for the Cica Powder too. So it makes me question, is the powder really a need?

Overall Thoughts
Honestly, I don't find it really necessary using the Cica Powder. I've tried the Cica Serum a couple of times without the powder and I could barely notice any difference with my experience.
