My Thoughts on COSRX Cica Serum

Ingredients
Looking into the full ingredient list of COSRX Pure Fit Cica Serum, it's key ingredients are the 7-Complex Cica which are the components of Centella Asiatica and also Pine Bark Extract. The core ingredients for the serum is mostly the same with other products within the range and most similar to its toner. What the toner doesn't have is Sodium Hyaluronate.

Packaging
It comes in a frosted glass bottle included with a dropper. I love that it isn't bulky

Texture
It's very lightweight and it's a bit runny but not watery. This clear serum is also non-sticky and it absorbs well into the skin. However, I do feel a slight tightness to the skin instantly after application.

Scent-Wise
Similar to its other product within the range, the Cica Serum is almost scentless as well.

Experience
I've been using the Cica Serum combined with its Cica Powder, which happens to be a very interesting product. Of course with the powder combined, it creates a different kind of texture which makes the serum cloudy and thicker. After mixing them both roughly, I'll just give them a pat with both my palms and instantly pat the serum on my face thoroughly.

Using the serum with or without the powder combined did not make any difference to my skin's reaction. It worked well with both way and I did not experience any irritations or redness at all.

Before & After Using COSRX Pure Fit Cica Range

Before & After Using COSRX Pure Fit Cica Serum

I've started using the whole Pure Fit Cica Range on 21/1/21. So it's been about 3 weeks since I've used this range. I've been using this range as my morning routine together with Aprilskin's Carrotene Range for my night routine. Both ranges are supposed to help deal and reduce acne. It was the right time too as if you followed my past reviews lately, I've mentioned that I was experiencing breakouts and it looked ugly. I started using Aprilskin' Carrotene Range first but a product didn't quite work since after my skin healed, I still experienced breakouts. So after taking a guess on what product to exclude, I combined it with COSRX Cica Range in my morning routine, which then resulted to my skin now.

As you can see, the progress was quite fast. It completely healed the big fat acne on my cheek and had my skin calmed down from acne and irritation. Even though the acne scars are still there but I'm really happy to see my skin calmer without any new acne popping up.

Overall Thoughts
The serum is among my fav within COSRX Cica Range. I feel like it would work well with different kinds of brands too. If you're looking into trying this range and can't get the whole set, you should start with the serum first.
