COSRX Pure Fit Cica Pad is it a toner? It could be confusing since the Pure Fit Range also has a toner included. COSRX states it as a toner pad and a sheet mask but for me, I find it more as a mask. This Cica Pad is definitely an interesting product and if you love soothing and highly hydrating products, make sure you take a look at this hybrid product from COSRX.

COSRX Pure Fit Cica Pad is a daily toner pad and sheet mask combined. COSRX mentions it to be refreshingly hydrating with water mint extract that acts as a cooling ingredient. These Cica pads would be able to solve all problems concerning with skin sensitivity.

My Thoughts on COSRX Cica Pad

Looking into the full ingredients list of COSRX Pure Fit Cica Pad, it's key ingredients are of course components of Centella Asiatica which includes TECA as well. It doesn't have a long list of INCI but it's mostly filled with skin-loving ingredients such as Panthenol, Allantoin, Glycerin, Alpha-Arbutin and also Hyaluronic Acid.
Packaging
A thing I really wish with pad packaging is for them to be less bulky. The Cosrx Cica pad is definitely bulky but just what type of pad packaging have you come across that ain't bulky? Anyhow, the packaging works great. I didn't encounter any spills and the lid is easy to open and close. The design is also clean and neat.
What I'm a bit disappointed about is that it doesn't provide a clipper, so your options are to either use your own or use your fingers to bring out that product. I'm to use one anyway, so I end up using my fingers most of the time but it'll be great if they have included it as well.
Texture
COSRX mentions their Cica pad to be 100% naturally derived from biodegradable material. Its made with the same technology used to create medical materials from bamboo. They managed to create a finer and more porous structure than pre-existing bamboo sheet fabrics that allows more essence to be absorbed and delivered into the skin.
Sounds amazing right? Its definitely one of a kind. The normal pads you'll usually see is a dual-textured pad which you'll use easily to wipe your face. However, I honestly was surprised when I opened the packaging for this pad. It's the thinnest pad I have ever come across ever since I've been using pads in my routine.
The texture is super thin and super soft. If you're imagining to wipe your face with this pad, forget it because it sticks and I prefer it that way too. Honestly, these pads should just be called a mask. It's like mini masks where you can focus on problematic areas only. It true by mentioning the ability of the essence to absorb greater within the skin, because this Cica pad can hold in a lot of essences. Even though the pad is super thin, its quite durable and doesn't easily tear. Honestly, I'm impressed.
Scent-Wise
It doesn't have much of a scent but if to describe it simply, the scent is not fragrance.
Experience
I've loved it ever since my first try! Honestly, this Pure Fit Cica Pad should me called mini masks because the function just the same. With leaving it to stick in the skin for 5-10mins is how a mask functions. You might have thought that this pad was a toner, I did too so I thought I needed to incorporate this into my usual skincare routine. But after my first time, I realised this is actually just an addition to the range. You won't be needing to use this together in your morning or night routine, instead, it can be used on any time of the day, depending on when you feel your skin needs a boost of hydration.
I've been using this a lot on my cheeks, usually after lunch hour when I had my face washed and in need to apply sunscreen again, I found it very pleasing applying this one first and do a bit of work on my laptop until its time to remove it.
Like seriously, after removing these pads, the skin instantly becomes bouncy had you can feel it to be very hydrated. It does have a slight feel of stickiness but it isn't bothersome at all. What I'll like to highlight is how supple it makes the skin within a short amount of time and application is just so pleasing.
Overall Thoughts
I could say this is a gem for me, I certainly love these kinds of stick-on because it's usually my go-to beauty products when I'm working. Yes, I'm the type that sits in front of a computer with a beauty mask on. I find that I tend to be more productive that way and it disciplines me to touch my face less. LOL...
Cosrx Pure Fit Cica Pads are totally worth the buy for me, although it isn't really necessary to be included in a skincare routine adding this in the routine surely helps to calm down irritated skin especially if you see signs of new acne popping. These pads give instant relief and it may also treat acne at the same time.
However, these pads tend to be rather sticky so to get it out of the tub, you'll not be able to pull out one pad at a time especially with fingers. Since the pads are highly moisturised with essence, it tends to stick to one another so you'll probably pull out a fine number of pads at a time. My advice is, don't put it back in the tub, just use all that you manage to pull out and close the lid back again. With your fingers sticking in the tub, it isn't that hygienic, is it?
