Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for COSRX Propolis Light Ampoule, its active ingredients is highly effective 83.25% of black bee propolis extract which aims as an antibacterial property. PROPOLIS IN SKINCARE, IS IT GOOD? Besides that, it only contains 10 other ingredients which COSRX claim to be only necessary. We can see the good moisturizing stuff as Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol and also Arginine. This serum also includes Senna Extract which is also known as an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredient. However, even though their packaging portrays as if honey is included, it isn't at all.
Packaging
The box is just the same as the rest in the range, a neat and simple design with a slight touch of light velvet feel. The bottle however is simply lovely. It comes in a see-through hard plastic bottle with a screw dropper cap. What gives more eyes to the bottle is the honey dripper screw cap for the dropper. Certainly lovely, I have no complaint about packaging as it serves its function well.
Texture
If you're thinking honey, its texture is like very very diluted honey. This coloured like honey serum has a light viscosity and is not runny. It takes some time to fully absorb into the skin and to your surprise, it ain't sticky. Once it completely dries, it gives a very soft and supple feel to the skin.
Scent-Wise
Minimal scent to no scent at all
Experience
I've used this serum for less than a week so there's certainly not much experience I could talk about. But still, I did not experience any irritation or inflammation why incorporating it into my skincare routine. So far my skin looks promising but I'll need more time to fully see how it goes. I'll update back when I fully have thoughts on this ampoule.
Update 24/7/2021
I've been using this serum generously with the rest of the range of COSRX's Propolis Range and it's making a huge difference to my skin. My skin is smooth without any bumps at all, just left with acne marks after my previous breakout.
Overall Thoughts
I get it now why it's among the bestselling products for COSRX. It's a really good serum, it feels soothing & nourishing. Not really that hydrating but it works well with my skin. This serum is highly recommended.
