Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for COSRX Propolis Light Cream, its active ingredients are Propolis Extract, Honey Extract and Royal Jelly Extract. These trio ingredients are all from bees which propolis and honey serve as anti-inflammatory ingredients while royal jelly improves anti-ageing. However, I read that royal jelly is quite unstable so it's easily oxidized. Other than that, it contains Senna Extract, Allantoin, Arginin and beeswax which looks pretty good. It also contains Alcohol which could trigger irritations.
Packaging
It comes in a hard shell see-through plastic tub with a screw cap. I wish it came in a tube instead like their CICA Cream as it'll be easier to use and hygienic. However, the design is simple and neat and it isn't too bulky either. The box has a nice light velvety feel to it which makes it feel expensive too. Label are in English & Korean.
Texture
Just as described, it has a milk coloured gel-like cream that's lightweight and absorbs easily into the skin. The viscosity of it is quite semi-thick so you can expect this gel-like cream to be half creamy as well. It glides so easily while application making me love putting a generous amount of it every time.
It seems to be a bit greasy during application but once the cream is fully absorbed, it's bearable. It creates a sheer finish look to the skin and it may still feel stickiness if you touch your face with your fingers. However, once the cream is fully sunk and dried, it creates a very nice smooth and supple feel to the skin. It also goes great under sunscreen, especially for very dry sunscreen types.
Scent-Wise
Has very minimal scent to no scent at all
Experience
I've only been using this a couple of days now and so far I can say I kinda like it. It really is moisturizing, my skin feels so good the whole day. However, I do feel slight itchiness feel while waiting for the cream to fully sink and dried from my skin. I'm kinda worried I may be allergic to propolis but I've already used COSRX's other products from the propolis range since a week ago and my skin doesn't seem to show any bad reaction.
Update 24/7/2021
I love how the COSRX Propolis range is working for my skin, I'm getting smoother & clearer skin and I don't see signs of any new acne either. The cream feels so good to apply on and seems to work well on my skin too. However, my skin stills feel itchy after a few seconds of application until it's fully absorbed in. It doesn't show irritation or redness, it just feels itchy to me.
Overall Thoughts
COSRX Propolis Cream seems to work as it claims, but I don't think I would repurchase this because of the itch it reacts to my skin. However, I'm still eager to finish the whole tub since it does show great results to my skin. My skin is smooth and clear after trying out the COSRX Propolis range.
